Living in Thailand!
I am studying abroad in Thailand this winter and I arrived at my new home last week. I am going to the Sasin Graduate Institute of Business which is part of Chulalongkorn University (the largest in Thailand). I am living on campus in Bangkok nearby to Siam Square. There are nine other students here from Kellogg and we all live in the same building. I have posted some pictures of the amazing temples in Bangkok which we visited on our first day.
Favorites from Japan
Here are just a few more favorite photos from Japan. Laura has some really good ones that I wanted to post. Thanks to my sister for coming on a great trip with me! This is the last post on Japan so Thailand is up next...

Friends in Japan
Laura and I were so fortunate to meet some amazing people while we were in Japan. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming to us. We got invited to some great parties and dinners. Thanks to everyone for inviting us! We were so happy to meet you all and let's keep in touch. Yes, we also had drinks with some amazing sumo wrestlers!

Mt. Fuji
Laura and I rented a cottage at the base of Mt. Fuji. It had an amazing view of the lake in front of the mountain. It was also a traditional Japanese in with an onsen. An onsen is a hot spring bath in which people bathe. It is basically a hot tub for relaxing and it had an amazing view.

I especially loved seeing all of the Geisha in the streets of Gion. There were so many people and festivals for the New Year, it was a great place to spend the holiday. Here are some favorites.....

Sushi & More
Japanese food was outstanding. We had some of the best sushi of my life! However, there were some very odd things we tried too, like squid intestine. Here are some photos of my favorites from the Tokyo Fish Market. Sushi for breakfast is always good......but the octopus featured above was still moving!
