We are now visiting the northern part of Thailand in a city called Chiang Mai. This is the second largest city in Thailand and is jumping off point to the mountains in the north. There are some lovely temples here and some great markets for Thai handicrafts. Today we went out into the countryside to see the elephants. We got to feed them sugar cane, watch them take baths in the river and ride them through the mountains. They are pretty amazing and really huge....
